nicely designed rooms with great feel

The location of the hotel is off Seminyake and i would consider it being not as commercialised. Its a great place if you like a quiet environment and loves to just spend time doing nothing except busk in the sun.
The villas are new (since Feb 2011) and has nice interior design. The pool is just by the room, so you will have a great time soaking while ledging urself to the room. We could surf the internet and watch a dvd on our laptop while soaking in the pool. Its a nice way to chill. The bathrooms are huge and fully marbled. With a large tub in the middle. Nice!
As for the surrounding, there is a nice pork ribs restaurant just outside the hotel. Other than that, you will need to travel out for food. The hotel provides shuttle services to Seminyake/Kuta area. You will just need to pre-arrange w them.
Take note of the M Mart abt 5 mins drive from the hotel. Its like a 7/11. They overcharged us by 50% when bought our stuff. We actually went back and counted item by item and demanded for a refund. If you must shop there, note the prices of the items you buy, add up and ensure the total sum is correct. Check ur change too!

Even though WIFI is available, it is only for the reception area. So those with IPAD/IPHONE would be frustrated. The room comes with FREE lan access. But for the wireless gadgets, to get on the net, I would suggest bring along a portable router. This would have made the trip complete for those that must stay connected.

Great private one bedroom villa with good service

we have stayed in a variety of villas in bali. the decor of this villa was not in the traditional balinese style however still lovely. it is a complex of villas, all private with pools, sitting room and large bathroom the villas are clean and service with a smile. we went in late may and whilst we live in the tropics and are used to humidity, you definitely need to have the air-conditioning working as the villa pool area captures the sun. transport to and from airport was on time and efficient. we did not use the shuttle service. the cafe down the road did great ribs and eka massuese across the road was good. wouldn't bother with the resort spa as eka was just as good and less costly. the cosy cafe down on the beach was great for sunsets and breakfast. the breakfast provided by the villa was average. we expected a better standard of food for the type of villa and from our previous villa experiences however was adequate and convenient.

Whilst the usual Western restuarants are accessible by walking down the beach, we preferred the local restuarants near the Villa. The cafe down did great ribs.
